A Welcome from the Trust CEO

“to be the best we can be”
PPAT is a group of wonderful Primary schools in beautiful Somerset.
The Trust is led by a team who are passionate about providing an excellent, wide- ranging education for all children which will develop a love of learning to last throughout their lives. We are dedicated to keeping children at the very heart of all that is undertaken.
We have an interesting mix of Church of England schools and non-church schools in towns and villages. The distinctive character of each school is therefore celebrated and protected, to meet the needs of the communities which they serve. This is achieved by working collaboratively, with a strong focus on maintaining and developing each school’s unique identity.
Staff, Local Governing Boards, Directors, and Members are uncompromising in their aim to provide the very best education in a safe, caring and stimulating environment.
Our belief that “all children can achieve” remains at the heart of everything we do.
“to be the best we can be”
The Values of the trust, influenced by our Church Foundation, are universal and based on: Selflessness, Integrity, Objectivity, Accountability, Openness, Honesty and Education.
The Trust was founded in April 2016 from the single Academy, Preston C of E Primary School, Yeovil. In September 2016, Kingfisher Primary School, Yeovil was the first sponsored school. There are now 9 Primary Schools within our Trust, covering Chard, Langport, the Somerset Levels, Queen Camel and North Cadbury.
It is a real privilege to lead this growing Trust which always puts the children first.
